Public Action outside of Downtown at the Taft Restaurant!
Protesters formed a picket down College Street to inform the downtown communtiy about the serious problem of wage theft at Downtown at the Taft Restaurant.
The owners of The Taft, Valerio Capobianco and Anthony D'Alto, owe a group fo 7 ex-workers of The Taft nearly $100,000.
When we sent them a letter requesting payment, the owners said that they did not have the money. They changed the name of the Taft Restaurant to Baccus Enoteca and then closed the restaurant. However, these men are also the owners of another successful restaurants, Jeffrey's in Milford. We will continue to hold them accountable for paying what they stole from the 7 workers!
